Cathlamet + Skamokowa

EatShopStayArtMusicTheaterAttractions

A point of pride to some in the county, not a single stoplight exists in all of Wahkiakum. While this may be the fun fact to shock out-of-towners with, there are plenty of other reasons to visit. On the east end, Cathlamet, Skamokawa and Puget Island with their influx of urban expats and deeply rooted family trees mix to form a cultural habitat of intertwined and laid back living. On the west end, Rosburg, Gray’s River and Deep River form a community of historically distinct country waysides. The fresh local food grown by lifelong and new farmers and the many unique and welcoming B&Bs are not to be missed.
